The weather got cold and rainy today here in NC. Never got above 60 degrees. We needed some cold weather food for dinner. My wife suggested that I make my Gourmet SOS. Game on!
I am posting the link to the recipe since we have a lot of new forum members. This is easy to make and you won’t be disappointed.

In the pot waiting for the Dry Sherry and then onto the sour dough toast.

My plate, loaded and ready to be consumed!

This was the perfect meal considering the weather around here. The “leftovers” will make a great breakfast.

Where was my invitation??? I must have overlooked it... ;D
Seriously - that is THE BEST comfort food meals ever. I have eaten Art's G.S.O.S. And it is incomparable.Even if you hated "chipped beef on toast" military style - you will LOVE this recipe.

Sniff sniff sniff. Oh boy that looks excellent Art! Geez you must have forgotten to invite me too! :(
Thanks for sharing your recipe tho!

That looks really good

That's looks very tasty and much better than I had in the US Army during my early years.
Also better than what I make and your recipe is copied.

It has been years since I have had SOS and now I want some!

That looks a lot better than the stuff I was feed in the middle of the ocean in the 70's.
