PBC Wings, Plus
« Reply #-1 on: February 10, 2015, 08:26:13 PM »
My wife said she wanted some wings cooked on the PBC tonight for dinner.  Yes, dear, I’ve got this covered.

Fired up the PBC.  Meanwhile I dusted a couple of pounds of party wings with some Chicken Savor.  Onto the PBC to cook.  Time to start thinking about what to coat/dip them in.  I bought some blue cheese dressing and had a bottle of Texas Pete Chipotle Hot Sauce.  Why not!!

Before I turned them over on the grill, I fired up the deep fat fryer.  I thought it was a time to drop them in some hot oil and finish them off before serving.  This shot is after the hot oil swim.  Got busy eating and forgot to take a plated picture of the sauced wings.  Trust me, they were good!!

Let me say that the combination of the blue cheese dressing and the chipotle hot sauce was really good.  I’ll do that combination again.  Great wings.  Totally different flavor profile than Buffalo wings.  A nice change.

I know your love for all sauces named Texas Pete.  As it turned out, it was the only chipotle hot sauce I had in the house.  The next time you visit, I'll remember to not serve any to you.
