Thanks' for the addition to the forum.
- I am "re-Tired" Navy.
- Have a few grills in the herd, gassers (Holland/Phoenix/AOG/Weber), charcoal (Kettle/PK/HB), Kamado's (2LBGE/MBGE/SBGE/), Primo Oval XL, Kikuya Hibatchi Pot, and one outlier portable grill that we used to take in the RV (Woodflame Delecto). Recently trimmed the herd and let my KBQ go to my BIL and sold my SY Rotis cooker.
I am looking forward to learning from the knowledgeable folks and superb cooks on this forum.

It’s good to have you here. And thank you for your service to the country.
That’s a great collection of outdoor cooking tools. I can tell that I’ll be learning from you. Please post some of your favorite cooks along with the recipe and photographs.
As an aside—How could you bear to part with your KBQ? It needs periodic attention, so I only have the time to use mine once or twice a year, but I love it. I give it a little pat on the bottom every time I walk past it.

Want to thank you all for the warm welcome to the forum.
@pmillen that was a difficult decision to come to grips with initially. The KBQ made some of the best Que around. The constant feeding (therapy) did not bother me. My BIL really wanted that puppy bad, so I I gave it to him. My BIL is a great guy who has always been there for me when I deployed etc... so I know it is in good hands. I know if he ever decides to let it go (not likely) it will come back to the herd. I pretty much let go of all log/split burners (Southern Yankee, KBQ, Sunterra). On a good note my wife who really does support my grill addiction has green lighted a MeadowCreek "chicken flipper" BBQ42.
