Title: Christmas Dinner - Clod
Post by: sliding_billy on December 25, 2013, 06:31:27 PM
Just a couple of quick pics.  SWMBO was hungry, so as soon as it finished resting it was time to eat.

Tinker says Merry Christmas, BTW!

All these gifts, and I get the trash bag full of wrapping paper...

That looks real good. What internal temp did you cook it to and what temp did you cook it at?

It was around 190-195 when I pulled it, and it rose a little during rest.  It was more a matter of it probing tender.  I cooked it 250-275 until I wrapped in BP and then went 300-325 to finish.

Nice hunk o' beef!

Our cats got the same thing for Christmas.  Even though they 'sampled' the tissue paper before we had a chance to open everything.   ;)
