Ribs (sort of)
« Reply #-1 on: December 31, 2013, 05:17:08 PM »
I ended up working from home today instead of going into the office.  By 9:00 it was apparent that there was nothing going on, so I hit the store (Sam's Club) in search of something that I could cook relatively quick.  Found flanken short ribs and bone-in pork CSRs both reduced for quick sale.  If you want sauce, there's a jar in the fridge...  :D

Same here... What are flanken ribs?   They look good...like they are made to grill / smoke.

Flanken cut is where they slice the ribs thinly across the bones. They are then grilled.

I have always known them as Korean Short Ribs since this is a method they have been using for their ribs. Marinated in a Teriyaki type mixture then grilled over high heat. They are so good!!!
