Trying something a little different this time.
Equal parts (as in 1 heaping cup, I ran out of Wooster, so I just added more of these to compensate) Bandana's BBQ "Carolina" sauce, cup of Jap juice, 3 pounds of those O-So-Wonderful pistachios..

And 5T of melted butter than the MAK was keeping warm. Looks like 100 milliliters for our Metrically-inclined friends. ;) (coffee is for me)

Gloves on, time to get interactive...
I picked up some pizza screens a while back, let's see how well they work. I bent up the edges to make a kinda-sorta-basket.

I like where this is heading. Pistachios are one of my favorite things.

This is a spin on 'Blazin Pistachios' from the Bradley Smoker Forum.
That one looks like this:
1 cup of green Tabasco
1 cup of jap juice
5 tbsps of melted butter
1 1/2 tsps of salt
5 tbsps of worcestershire
3 pounds of pistachios
Mix well and smoke until dry.
Great flavor, and the green Tabasco is very mild.
They are addicting..

Those are gonna be some hot nuts :o

Go for it! It is so easy... And they are addicting.
Top of the jar of jalas with white vinegar after you dump the cup of juice out. 1 week later - bingo - pickled jala juice.
When they turn to mush, they've given up the ghost and you can toss them out.
I've been using that big jug since late last summer. ;)
-
Done and Done. Some of these near the edge of the drip pan got slightly scorched.

Parked in a cool oven now with the door cracked open.

They do look tasty....I know it sounds crazy ( the norm for me ;) ) but, I think these would taste great once shelled - on top of home made vanilla ice cream...
