Title: Striploin Fajitas
Post by: Wing Commander on August 02, 2014, 09:42:17 AM
Today I used my Cobb Grill again since a longer time: I cooked some bell peppers, onion, garlic, jalapenos, tomatoes and persil in the Cobb-Wok. Then I tossed some sliced striploin on these veggies, which I seared on the mini egg before. That was filled in tortillas with some yogurt garlic sauce.

Stunningly beautiful WC!

In the USA - parsley ( persil ) is not often used for fajitas...But it is a great flavor option. Most often - the leaf of the coriander plant (cilantro) is used, along with other Latin American flavor ingredients.

I really like the twist you did in this cook - I think it is a nice, fresh approach that focuses more on the flavors of the meat, with the other flavors as accents.

Awesome wrap. Was just going to look up what the heck persil was when Tee explained it. That final picture just makes you want to make it right away.

WC,
That looks really good.  I like your twist on fajitas.  I could handle at least one of those for lunch today.

WC that looks great - so fresh. I really like the parsley - I am not a fan of cilantro, and often use parsley in its place - this looks super!
