Title: Beefy ribs done kettle style
Post by: smokeasaurus on August 03, 2014, 09:21:41 PM
After a day of driving through the mountains it was kind of nice to just set around and slo cook some beef ribs:

Cant go wrong with the Fine Swine and Bovine
(http://i1213.photobucket.com/albums/cc469/s1cott11/0803140817_zps3202524d.jpg) (http://s1213.photobucket.com/user/s1cott11/media/0803140817_zps3202524d.jpg.html)

Getting the ribs happy
(http://i1213.photobucket.com/albums/cc469/s1cott11/0803140817a_zps7adee237.jpg) (http://s1213.photobucket.com/user/s1cott11/media/0803140817a_zps7adee237.jpg.html)

Got the 26" Weber ready for some indirect cooking  (Texas post oak for smoke)
(http://i1213.photobucket.com/albums/cc469/s1cott11/0803140818_zps7e3c44e7.jpg) (http://s1213.photobucket.com/user/s1cott11/media/0803140818_zps7e3c44e7.jpg.html)

Only have to light 8-10 briquettes and ya got a chimney starter.....just turn it upside down and splash on a little lighter fluid  8)

Six hours to go till din din
(http://i1213.photobucket.com/albums/cc469/s1cott11/0803141013_zps79f80081.jpg) (http://s1213.photobucket.com/user/s1cott11/media/0803141013_zps79f80081.jpg.html)

Now if the ribs don't come out good I get thrown in the dog house  :o

Well that didn't happen, Old Smoke will live to smoke another day  :)

Looks mighty fine Smoke! There wasn't much of a chance Ol' Smoke was going to end up in the dog house for cooking bad ribs! Unless of course a long hidden bottle of TendaRub showed up!  ???
Nice cook sir!  :P
