Title: Buckaroo Chicken Thighs
Post by: smokeasaurus on February 04, 2015, 02:56:31 PM
Giving the Buckaroo rub from Red Oak Rubs a try on some chicken thighs later today. It is a sweet and smokey mixture and I gotta feeling this will be an excellent rub on    briskies and ribs. Gonna plug in the pooper for this cook. I want the light smoke profile so I can figure this rub out.......

Ran the pooper on high and crisped up the skin.

The buckaroo rub is outstanding. Not salty, just a smokey slightly sweet profile...gonna be good on some ribs  :P
