Title: First grill of the year
Post by: africanmeat on January 02, 2016, 07:20:09 AM
We started the year with lamb chops , creamed spinach and a salad .
made a romanian garlic sauce called " Mujdei De Usturoi " from where i came from ,
my parents used to do it with garlic (a lot of it ) crash it in a cup with salt as the abrasive using the handle of a wooden spoon adding slowly water .
till it turn in to a paste .

Thanks Ahron..she getting pretty old and may not remember..old age sux, don't like watching them go downhill, and she is the last one left to ask. But I will and/or just make it myself. I also grow my own gahhlick.
Also, do yu make any pastries? My gma made the most fabulous stuff, like apple strudel, she made a dough that hung tothe floor and you could see thru it, then added apples and cinnamon and then rolled it up into strudel. I have no idea how she did it but it was a wonder to see it being made. this is where my love of baking
 comes from.
