It is a great smoker/grill. It is the Open Range just six inches less in width.

It has been renamed "Patio Jr".

It should have an adjustable charcoal grate if my memory serves me correctly.

This could be a Gen 2 or Gen 3 model. We sold them through Ace of Hearts for a while.

If it is clean, I would go for it.

I'm thinking it's the junior.

This is the Gen 2 with the adjustable charcoal grate (that was an option) and the pull out ash pan to help with the sideways burn the Gen one suffered from.

That is a 11 gauge body with 14 gauge lids and is the early version of the Patio Jr.

Some high heat paint and you will be all set

For $200 you found a good deal.

For $200, I would buy it.  I have a third generation Open Range and Marshall and they are both great smokers.

Ok I think I will! Just woundering why on here you don't see to many people at all that have them?

You probably don't see a lot of them on here because they are kind of expensive and maybe not that well known.  Even the used ones I see for sale on CL are usually pretty expensive.  The full price of the one you are thinking of buying is around $900 new these days.

I had never heard of this brand until last year when I read a review on this website.  That review and one on Youtube  is what pushed me to buy one for myself.  Now I have two so that tells you how much I like them.

The Good One was a regional brand until Ace of Hearts jumped in as a distributor back in 2011. Landmark Mfg bought The Good One and handle the mfg and of course Chris Marks is now fully on board and The Good One should become a name to be reckoned with coast to coast in the near future.

The Good One has a Facebook page with quite a few members. Considering what I paid for my Open Range, $200 for the Pony Express is a steal.
