Title: Jen-U-Wine Jerry
Post by: soggy wood on June 06, 2017, 09:33:50 AM
Has anyone used a Jen-U-Wine Jerry retrofit on their pellet smokers?  If so, what are your thoughts on it?  He sells the kits for $130 on his website, and it looks like it's just heavy gauge steel that sits over the fire pot, and you just put a hardwood log on the top.  I was looking at some videos on YouTube, and people who use it, say it produces a stronger wood flavor to your food, but it looks like the white smoke that produces the more bitter smoke flavor.  Apparently, Jen-U-Wine Jerry is doing pretty well on the competition circuit in Southern California, so his kits must be the real deal.
