I sure would eat that blurry and all. :P
Heck in my 70 years of life I sure have eaten my share of blurry things. :D

All done...blurry photo...what happened:
If you'd already eaten, you could've blamed it on the onset of a food coma! ;D
The tri's look food coma worthy!

Thanks for giving us your final opinion of method.
That being said do you think grilled Tri-Tip is a good or better than grilled rib eye?
Reason for the question is rib eye is cheaper here than tri-tip.
-
tri's = charcoal or pellets. ::)

Well at least you tried it right, heck YOLO. :D :D :D

I get a whole rib-eye roast from Costco and cut my own steaks. Very cost effective but never as cheap as rib-eyes on sale.
IMHO there is nothing like a flame grilled rib-eye ;)
-
I get choice Rib eye roast at this little market behind my job for 4.99 a lb. He slices it at .75 thick and I get roughly -21- steaks each time!!
-
We also get Choice Rib Eyes for $4.29 to 4.99 a pound.
The few times I find Tri-tip the price is in the $7 to $8 range.

Great prices on ribeye.....you are lucky. Ours are 7-8 a pound at Costco. Was eyeing a 17 pound rib roast today. Was $8.99 a pound.
