Title: Love those botanicals
Post by: Big Dawg on February 24, 2019, 06:51:54 PM: I know that I posted about a Vodka Martini (http://www.letstalkbbq.com/index.php?topic=23445.msg297689#msg297689) in another thread. But, while I do occasionally enjoy one of those, this is how I usually roll . . . .

Famous Grouse for day-to-day use. I also have several Single Malts on hand for special occasions.

I ran across those and they are now the only ones I use . . . there's Vermouth in the marinade ! ! !

Once I meet my Irish wife and her whole family loves crown royal i got to love them too. Lol. My favorite drink is a double crown on the rocks. Margarita by the pool is good too.

Post by: Big Dawg on February 28, 2019, 01:29:46 PM: Well, my dad was a scotch drinker, so if I wanted to drink without paying for it (and sometimes without his knowledge) I developed a taste for it early in life ! ! ! But a nice martini once a week or so is a nice change of pace.
