Picked up some grass-fed beef ribs from Crowd Cow. Also threw on some pork spares and smoked some fresh-picked garlic. This was a good cook!

Excellent.

Excellent cook! I have never smoked garlic. From what I have heard it’s simple. How do you do it?

It was very easy. Cut the tops of the bulbs to expose a little bit of the garlic, drizzle in olive oil, season with salt and pepper. I smoked them for about an hour and a half along with the rest of the cook, at 275 degrees. The garlic turns soft and creamy, and the flavor mellows out nicely. We spread it on some sliced crusty baguettes. Absolutely delicious! And you can freeze the bulbs to use at a later time in other recipes.

Great grub. I also love to smoke or just add the bulbs to the grill. They are really good.

The meat looks mighty good, but the idea of smoking the garlic at the same time got me. Definitely gonna be trying it here.

Yeah, those look good ! ! !
