I've got a good set of knives & I know there are tasks you can't do with a ceramic you can with steel.
This was a good size , a good brand & affordable to have a knife for slicing & dicing!
I like it! Handle is comfortable, well balanced & not too light . Very sharp but not too sharp.dont like the white blade but that's a little thing. Don't plan on buying others but for slicing & dicing think I did OK!

The true test is to see how thin you can slice a large tomato with it. Been tossing around the idea of buying a ceramic knife but not sure if I would like it. Let us know your experiences with it.

Tim had one at last year's Fall Gathering. I liked the way it handled. You can slice nice and thin. My only concern is that you have to remember what kind of knife you are using. There are some do's and don't's. It is kind of fragile. If you forget and try and use it other than slicing, you could knick or break the blade. For that kind of price, I might have to try one at home.

Nice deal LA. Have wanted to try one of those for years.
