Title: New to the Forum
Post by: sgomes on February 28, 2013, 03:20:06 PM
Just registered.  I recently bought a Pellet Pro Grill from Smoke Daddy, the 969; and, I think I'm going to really like it once I get the SSII controller - ordered today, sposed to be delivered next week.

I have a lot to learn about bbq, although I have been putting out acceptable product for years using first a MECO small electric, then a WSM, and now the Pellet Pro.  Hope to make big improvements using this grill and tapping into the reservoir of knowledge available.

I'll try my best to keep my questions pointed, short, and few.  Thanks, in advance, for the help from any who have the time and inclination.

Steve

Steve -
I just want to welcome you, and hope that you feel the warmth of friendship here that encourages you to NOT feel it necessary to be brief and pointed with your questions. As well - you are welcome here all of the time. We will not get tired of seeing you around. This is YOUR neighborhood. ;D
We are fortunate to have some really gifted cooks here that are always ready to help, and share experiences.
But, what we DO NOT have are folks that will be snarky, arrogant and otherwise talk down to you. As you saw our House Rules - we simply practice the Golden Rule for a guideline of our tone and responses. Don't get me wrong - we tease one another heartily, and have a good time - but it is never mean spirited.
We are all here to relax and have a good time. ;D
WELCOME!
