Got hold of some angus patties and had a good meal after taking down X-mas lights all day!!

Those look damn good to me... Been too long since I grilled a big hunk of beef in anger.

Did you start with frozen patties? I like to start with those frozen sirloin patties from Sam's, throw them on the grill still frozen.

They were thawed when I got em. Do they get more smoke flavor being frozen?

I'm not a big fan of the frozen burgers. I only use them to feed my son's crummy friends.

I like my sons friends, as a matter of fact at about 4am yesterday morning my Son called me and asked me to cook Burgers and Baked Beans for him and 5 of his friends later since he was off tonight (we both work night shifts for different departments so 4am phone calls are not unusual). Some of his friends really like my food, esp. my beans and had been asking for him to get me to cook for them. So of course I was glad to. Made some burgers on the RED, coated them with some garlic infused grapeseed oil and cracked pepper, some grilled brats, baked beans with pulled pork in them and some cole slaw and some cold beer for them to wash it all down with. Came out really good for a last minute cook. The burgers were pre-formed but not frozen.

Dang Bobo...the least they could have done was refresh your supply.....Made burgers here too but it was too cold to cook on the grill...dang did I say that out loud
