Title: old school cast iron kettle meatloaf

fired up the chimney and got the green ghost ready.

I make my meatloaf w/ lipton onion soup mix, 2 garlic gloves, 1/2 jala and some secret herbs I grow myself.  mix it all up and form a little football.  ketchup all over the top so you get a good tomato crust.  love this shot.

after a few FT's were done.  looks good.

this is was a great meal.  it seems the older I get its the simple meals I enjoy the most.

can't wait for cold meatloaf sandwiches tomorrow.   :P

liked it so well I cooked another one the next day.

no name on it.  found it in my shed.  its got a small cracked on the bottom and is not flat but it sure cooks well.   8)

Does it have USA on the bottom? If it does it is an old Lodge.

no marking at all on bottom.
