Title: Red Neck Rebuild
Post by: LostArrow on May 19, 2013, 09:37:56 PM
One of the camp members got a " FREE" gas grill!
The flame tamers were rusted out & the bottom had rusted out.
Well we made flame tamers & used a aluminum baking sheet $13 and have a functioning gasser 8)

LA you'll poison yourself using galvanized metal in the grill
the burning zinc is toxic

The Capt speaks the truth LA -  ditch those galvanized pieces - please do not cook on that thing until you get either carbon steel or stainless flame tamers.

Rats!  Sometimes I wish y'all weren't so concerned and helpful.  I almost got to inherit all LA's grilling stuff.

LA,  Don't listen to 'em.  Just go ahead and cook on it and give it to one of your "favorite" buddies and say, "Here, Bubba. Take this beer and this great grilled meat and enjoy yerself."  Dee
