Title: pulled pork pizza
Post by: Sandman on July 18, 2013, 02:44:34 PM
I bought some naan flatbreads and thought a pulled pork pizza would be good. I put it on the traeger on smoke for 45 mins then cranked it up all the way till done. Turned out great with nice smoke.(http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x372/Bradsanders99/IMAG0317_zpsc226523d.jpg) (http://s1178.photobucket.com/user/Bradsanders99/media/IMAG0317_zpsc226523d.jpg.html)(http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x372/Bradsanders99/IMAG0319_zps0b194d7e.jpg) (http://s1178.photobucket.com/user/Bradsanders99/media/IMAG0319_zps0b194d7e.jpg.html)

I roast veggies in the same pan. Never thought of a pizza in it. Great idea!
That looks fantastic!

I'd hammer a slice or two of that in a heartbeat.

When I lived in Memphis, there was a restaurant that had BBQ pizza that was really a great pulled pork pizza. I have never seen it anywhere else that was worth a flip. Guess I will just have to make my own now!

@ Sandman: Great looking pizza ... I never considered using naan before; I'm stealing the idea.

@MJS:  There's a small chain called Extreme Pizza that has one of their "signature" pies called the "Boar'der":  pulled pork, cilantro, red onion, BBQ sauce, and a cheddar/mozz mix that is really quite good.  While it's not true Memphis style (I've had BBQ spaghetti up there that was a nice change of pace) I think you'd enjoy it if you've got a location near you ...

I stole the naan idea from Smokin Don, just to be fair. :D
