After hours of thought
I figured out how to get great smoked flavor on a gasser.
I partially cooked ribs at home on my smoker for 2 hours wrapped in foil & froze.
Yesterday fired up the gasser by the poll on low & foiled ribs on for a hour.
Removed the foil sauced with Sweet Baby Rays & back on to set the sauce.
Really tasty, served with grilled zucchini , Mac & Cheese , bread & grilled boudan.

So you can smoke 'em & freeze ' em even a week or three ahead & finish when you want to...
You are brilliant!  What else are you going to pull out of the box?

Question is: did you thaw before putting on the grill?  Did you spritz with the Windex for a  unique flavor profile?

Think about smokin' ribs on the days you have plenty of time, then freezing them for the days when the crowd comes over.  OR, smoke a bunch of  'em, eat what you want and freeze the rest for later. OR take ' em with you on your next weekend getaway. OR...(fill in the blank)

B T W, I told Deb about it...her exact words were, "that's brilliant!"

Windex, the secret to tender ribs...whodathunkit  :D

Those ribs look darn good, no matter what kind of pit they were cooked on.

I like the looks of the apartment, kinda has that late 50's early 60's look  8)

Great technique, LA.  "Pre-smoking" ribs has become one of my standbys - whenever I smoke ribs, I usually smoke three racks and only finish one or two.  The rest get cut in half and frozen for later use.  It makes the best use of the smoker and means we can have "fresh" ribs later without going through the whole drill to get them.
