I was off work yesterday because I have to work Saturday (BOO!), and I decided to cook dinner for the fam. Found a whole fryer at a local grocery store for 98¢ a pound. Brined it, rubbed with a compound butter & sprinkled on some dry rub & Italian seasoning. Put it on the Weber kettle @ something close to 300°, and let it go until the thigh reached 170°. No finished pics because I was in a hurry to get dinner on the table.

Still had a thigh & a wing for lunch today. I like making my co-workers jealous as they try to enjoy their frozen meals. 8)

Beautiful color on that chicken!

Looks great!

Oh, yeah, I'd eat that!
Now that I have kettle, I am more interested in kettle cooks. How about pulling back with the camera to give a good look at how the grill was set up...THEN do a close of the meat.
Thanks a lot.
