I haven't seen this mentioned here. You can google Weber 6520 to see more. Available across the pond. Does Weber think we wouldn't be interested?

Very Old Dog already had posted this. He contacted Weber and it appears there are no plans to bring it here.

The marketing strategy of some companies sure does leave one scratching the head. I'm thinking Weber would sell tons in this country.

Could be something that Weber just slapped their name on but not have real control of it's distribution.

Somebody's got to be going to Europe. I'm sure the customs folks wouldn't think twice about someone coming back with a few pizza ovens in their carry on. :P

They also have some pretty cool colors offered for their kettles overseas

Not to get too far off topic, but it's funny what colors will sell overseas that won't sell here in the States. My wife who is in management at Wal-Mart tells me, for example, that Rubber Maid makes this color called "Euro Blue" which is wildly popular in Europe. Wal-mart ordered a gazzilion pieces in that color and they practically had to give them away to move them here. Americans prefer the "Country Blue" color.

It is funny. I worked with Dyson on the original cyclonic vacuums. In Japan, pink was the color everyone demanded. They couldn't keep pink vacuums in stock, while the other colors sat on the shelf.
