Well been a few weeks since my knee scope (left knee) and been wanting to cook real bad but can't.
So been working on my next project so if you know what it is tell me.
HINT..... For those who were at the Georgia cook out you have an unfair advantage
As soon as I can I will put it to good use! ;)

Hmmm, I don't recall you mentioning this at the Gathering, but it looks like some sort of diffuser plate mod.
-
It is a jousting shield for your weekly "Knights of The Round Table" tournament ???
-
your going to turn it over and use it as a pizza stone on your srg. ;)
-
Did you find that in Area 51?
-
A warming dish for keeping food hot.

No, but during the week when not in use it would work for that ;)
Will show y'all soon, going to get it placed today and show you.

Ahhh... I just remembered something you said at the gathering. Does it have something to do with your smoke ring (I hope I'm not letting the cat out of the bag here)?
-
Tommy, whatever it is going to be, I know that it will make your outdoor cooking more effecient and a whole lot better. You are my favorite inventor.

Nope, but you were close on the 1st guess :D
Ok here it is. While building this pellet smoker/grill I knew it would smoke and do a very good job of it but I also wanted it to grill as well. Using this plate I now can grill an not be concerned about grease getting in to burn chamber and causing a fire ??? Should test with it next week to see how high a temp I can get.
First picture is the heat plate / grease drain this is the set up for using the SRG chamber
Second picture is the new tray installed to keep grease out of the burner. Still need to drill the drain hole but it gives you an idea of what I'm doing
