About the size of a weber smoky joe,
Since it's not fragile might be great for tailgating!

would be good for apartment dwellers as well. If the apartments allow charcoal. :(

Nice looking little grill. I kept a Smokey Joe in my RV for years and it is a great cooking little grill. Cooks really well and it light and compact and when tailgating it doesn't take all day to cook down after cooking.

I've a Big Green Egg Mini which has about a 10-inch grill (or somewhere that size) which we use for the RV. The only problem is that the ceramic cooker takes many hours to cool enough to stow away. The first time I used it for dinner I finally had to give up and go to bed leaving it outside because it was still too hot to handle.

Looks like a good alternative to the BGE mini however the only retailer I could find it at was Menards and they don't ship it. No Menards out here.
I did find it on eBay however for $219 shipped...

Seems to me that if you live near a Menards it can be had for under $150. At that price it would be worth it. Bet it could sear a mean steak!

That looks like a great way to cook a steak without having to get the Weber out. May have to check this out.

Chargriller uses menards as a test market, did the same thing with full sized Kamodo
If sell well will be widely available next season

Menards has the Little Red Kamando Grill a.k.a. Chargriller Mini Akorn model #6614 clearanced priced for $139, so we purchased one for camping. I had a relative pick it up for me, so I haven't physically seen the grill yet.
Anyone else that may be interested can call a Menards store and give them Menards SKU #2591010 to search their stores inventory or other stores inventory.

I can do a follow up on this... we got this a couple of months ago and have been breaking it in before camping season starts. It is a fantastic little grill!! Light enough where you can move it around easily enough but yet strong enough to handle a fall from a 4 ft table and still be fine :o We were able to order a plate setter from the company so we can now grill indirect on it as well. I think we will really like this for camping.

I read today while lookin' around that the Akorn has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
Can't order 'em online from from char-griller...or Amazon
