Title: Grillers Wings n Rubs
Post by: smokentime on November 10, 2013, 06:13:04 PM
I donated some $ in exchange for the recipes for some rubs. This was my first time grinding and blending spices to make a rub. Here's the trio

I  decided to use the citrus on some flappers that were first covered in some honey mustard dressing than cover with the citrus.

I found some bacon cheddar grillers also and they were brought out to the party. I fired up the 22" kettle and brought it up to temps

They both were cooked indirect and finished direct to get some crispy cruddyness on them.

The wings were finished with some Stubbs Sweet Heat, another first try for me and I liked it.

The citrus was very good, of course that's a biased opinion  :D
Thanks for looking! I hope you all have a fantastic week!
