Post by: squirtthecat on May 20, 2012, 09:26:37 AM
(a.k.a. - clean out the fridge)

Started with the rest of last Sunday's boulder.

Chop up roughly 2 cups worth.   (my new refurbed Kindle is helping out)

Nuke some veggie mix I found in the freezer.  Chilled and gave it some heavy doses of Cumin.

Last of the cottage cheese and shredded parm.   Fold it all together into a greased pie plate.

Bisquick/Milk/4 eggs.   And about a T of Sriracha.   Pour over the top.

Fire the MAK.

On we go - top rack this time.

Hmm..   Looks like I need to shim up the front wheels a bit.

Check it at 30 minutes.

Bumped to 450 for another 20 or so, and called it done.  (did the 'knife comes out clean' thing)

Mrs was out walking, so I parked it in the microwave with the door cracked open.

About 30 minutes later - time to eat.

Looks great! - and the eggs and bisquick really glue it all together nicely. Almost looks like a quiche......but we all know real men don't eat that ;) ;D

So - it is a Pot Pie for sure! Bet it tastes great.

I picked this one up 'gently used' from a coworker.   Great camera, and it is sealed against rain/snow/sharp objects/protruding buildings/subway doors/dust/smoke/splattering grease/flames.   ;)        Yes, it has seen them all.

I usually just use the stock lens and chose 'automagic' mode.   Picasa helps tweak the colors before I upload them.
