My friend of many years, and business associate Brant King of Vero beach FL passed away unexpectedly this past Sunday. Brant and I were working on some business expansion plans that he was to play an important part in. But - mostly, i just miss him. Brant is on the let, I am on the right. This was a BBQ festival we participated in as a vendor, earlier this month.

He leaves behind a wife, one son and a sister. His son is getting married in San Diego this weekend. Tough on any family...
Rest well my friend, rest well.

Thanks guys. I felt like I owed it to Brant. I got him into cooking outdoors, and he was just getting good at it.

Thanks folks. It is a sad fact that - with life, none of us get out alive.
So - whatever it is - do it now, quit putting it off. Got something you need to say to someone? Stop procrastinating. Been putting off that physical? Just get it done.
AND - take every opportunity to make fond memories with friends and family. Remember - one day that is all they are going to have of you.
Now - let's live, laugh, love - and lighten up. :)

T, Loosing a close friend sometimes is more painful than loosing a non-close family member. Sometimes we meet people with whom we just click and a bond forms that is unbreakable...even in death. Dee
'Tis true Dee.....occasionally, I still see a few of my old "in country" friends and comrades - in my dreams.
Smoke - because you re on teh West Coast...I want to clarify: that was "lighten up"...NOT "lighting up".... ;) ;D

I have been going back and looking at the pictures today and Brant looks like he could have gone for another 20 years........ya just don't know when the Big Guy is gonna call your number.
I will lighten up now...promise.......
