Wings marinated in " Tuscan Italian dressing" (Kraft)
Seasoned with Weber roasted garlic & herb rub ( an impulse buy)
On the weber , in heat shield set-up, for about 1 hr. Both crispy & smoked. Really good!

Those wings look perfect. That salad looks like good eats as well. How was the garlic and herb rub?

I love wings, and those look great. Question for you, what is the Heat Shield setup? Looks like a pizza pan under the grate, and how is it held up? I have never seen that before. I just keep on seeing new things on this site. Well at least new to me.

This is the basic idea, you can make a kettle into a vertical smoker without losing cooking area.

Thanks now I want some wings.

Great looking wings.
I like that setup you're using I bet it worked great to keep the wings from flaring up.

Thanks for the link Lost Arrow. That is a neat set up. I might try that next time I do a single rack or small shoulder.

One advantage is you can use the entire 22 in kettle surface., I'm thinking you could easily cook 3 butts
Or 6 racks b&b ribs ( with rib rack)
