Randy,
That looks outstanding. I love pulled chuck. That is one of the meals I cook for my gun club. Never any leftovers from that meal.

Well at 23lbs you should have plenty!
On my way over too!
I'll bring the wheel barrel for Rick ;)

Wow! Look at that beautiful color. Just awesome!

Outstanding cook!

Into a foil pan with sweet onions, mushrooms and red wine:

Covered tightly with foil and into a 225F oven. I'm not going to use pellets if it's just heat.

That's one piece of meat. Whatcha doing with the rest?

Agree, that is one fantastic looking cook!
-
Beautiful--not familiar with the MAK--what temp did you cook and what fuel did you use? I may try something similar next time a group asks me to cook a BIG quantity of meat. That's the reason for asking Thanks.
-
Oh my my
Yumm Oh
-

MAK 2 star is a pellet grill.
I put them on about 2200 last night, on SMOKE (175F-190F) for 4 hours, then 225F until about 1000 this morning when I boated them with the onions, mushrooms and red wine. Then into a 225F oven until about 1500, then I set the oven to "hold" at 190F since I had to go somewhere. I just pulled them. pics to follow.

Done:

I never met a chuckie I didn't like. Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
-
I've found that hitting it with another splash of wine and a shake of rub at the end kicks it up a notch.
-
good looking grub Randy

Thanks for answering my questions about grill, temps, etc. Looks SO good, and I'm starving right now! Can you beam me over to where you are? Was gonna do ribs on the grill today--SO windy there's no way to keep the fire going and/or under control. Durn wind--second of three days. Nasty, nasty, nasty! Gonna try the pulled chuckie one of these here soon days. Especially since I saw pork butt on special today for $1.98/lb. Ouch--that's twice what I paid late this winter--literally--bought two for .99/lb. Both gone!

I'm gonna be in Florida the week of May 19th.. please save some for me!
