Smoke goes through sooooo many cookers it's like theyre disposable ::)
Smoke what's the cooking area of the kingfisher?
I'm assuming you're using a charcoal basket from one of your previous cookers.

The off-set is off to the side of the patio!!
The Kingfisher has a 17" x 48" cooking surface with two 24" cooking grates.
The front leg is bending on me so I have it propped up with some bricks. Gonna have the maker send me a back leg set up with wheels and that should shore it up! Once it is welded up, I will get back to cooking on it. I used a Char-Griller basket yesterday and the grill cruised between 225 and 250 for the whole cook.

My gal is pissed and doesn't like the patio all jammed up with pits but I don't really see the problem!!  ::)

Tell her the less open area on the patio - the less she has to clean! ( duck! )  :o ;D
