Hand cut chops on mystery grill
« Reply #-1 on: August 04, 2014, 11:51:23 AM »
I am still playing with my mystery grill (they haven't pulled the trigger so I can't say....) Karen and Rocky are at the lake so it is Emma (my 16 yr old) and me for the week. We went shopping and found a center cut pork loin on sale - had to get it. We were also hungry so we didn't wait overnight to brine....

Cut the loin into some very thick chops - ohhhhh yeah! Held out three and sealed and froze the rest. Emma suggested M3 for the rub - so it was evoo and M3 - let them rest in the fridge for a few hours and later on the counter for 30 minutes. We also picked up a package of small potatoes (red and yellow) and sliced in half - evoo and W.O.W. Same with a sweet onion and some large Portobello slices.

Everyone jumped on the grill and got nice and toasty. The chops were VERY juicy!

Maybe some of you remember "Rocky Likes It" - well here is Emma.

Cheers!

Great work on those chops.  Seems like Emma's digging them, too!
