Pellet grilled chicken
« Reply #-1 on: June 24, 2012, 06:36:17 PM »
Started with some chicken legs...

Legs coated with Mo' Rockin Chicken rub. I emptied the jar into a ziplock bag and coated each leg one at a time. And I am now out of this great rub :'(  gonna need to order more...

Pre heated the Memphis to setpoint 275F and put the legs on until I got an IT of 150F...

After about an hour they were at 150F. So then I cranked the Memphis up to 425F and grilled them for 10 more minutes. After I got the color I wanted I pulled em off...

My toughest food critic said that they were good :)

Thanks Mike ;)

This grill uses such little pellets. I bought the same amount this year that I used up last year with my Traeger. I will probably use half of what I bought this year :o
