Pork butts Kettle style

Stumbled upon a couple of nice looking butts at the market this morn. Cut them in half for more rub and smoke coverage. Coated em in yellow rub glue (mustard) and layered em heavily with Gary's Sweet for Mama rub. Into the fridge to get happy until tomorrow morn.......................

Good Old pappy knows that Old Smoke doesn't dabble with Unicorn  :). We slept in to 8 this morn so we are off to a late start...but here we go:

Texas Post Oak for smoke and good old KBB for heat:







Gonna pick up a WSM later today: Wendys oldest daughter is getting married this October and they want Old Smoke to do pulled pork for the reception. I am quite honored. The big Kettle will surfice for today though. The kettle and WSM will go with us to Crestline when we do move.  Will post a bit later........

most excellent.  you butt looks good smoke.  love the color on them.  you can to so much w/ a 26 kettle.  I love mine.
