Long day
« Reply #-1 on: October 26, 2014, 07:19:42 PM »
Spent a total of 5 hours at the hockey rinks today. My oldest Nolan had a game and select team tryouts, and my middle guy Evan had hockey school. I'm tired and cold and want some stick to your ribs comfort food.
Gonna start with some cheese stuffed meatballs. Equal portions of ground beef, pork and veal.
Added some Italian bread crumbs and 1 egg as well as some Italian seasoning

Cut some mozzarella up

Wrapped the cheese with the meat

On to the Mak on smoke for 20 mins then bumped to 325 till done

Simmered some store bought Sicilian Gravy

Sautéed some crimini mushrooms in Italian seasoning, butter and red wine.

Served with Cesar salad and cheesy garlic toast.

I'm now full and life is good!

Looks great, Scally's!!  Didn't see any beverage with your meal.  Can't believe you didn't have an adult beverage with dinner.
