They look good Gene!!! I always thought any kind of pork oven baked or even crockpot was good done right. I used to drink Lapsang Souchong  tea years ago when I was into black powder shooting. It was a favorite of early American trappers and remember it was very smoky tasting. Don

Delicious looking ribs and sides Gene! How much of a smoke taste did you get with the tea?

Very interesting way to get smoke flavor into them.  Like Mike, I'm curious as to how much smoke flavor you got.

There was a fair amount. A nice pleasant smoky taste. Much more pleasing than when using liquid smoke. These are easy to make, they're tender with a slight bite, and more realistic in the smokey flavor. Next time I'm going to double the tea allotment and see what happens. At the very least this is an indoor bbq rib recipe with a nice smoky taste that's not as good as outdoor smoked ribs, but a far cry better than any other indoor ribs that I've had.
