When you get your new Rec Tec, please post your pellet cooking adventures in the Rec Tec sponsor section. This way Rec Tec gets the proper love and attention.

Did you get your ship date yet?  Please let us know about the extreme smoke feature...............and congratulations  :)

Thank you all very much, this is an awesome group. I purchased a Rec Tec today. They told me they have a new controller with an extreme smoke feature, He said it pulses the fan. Can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks again to everyone that responded, I look forward to being able to help others someday.

I cant wait to be able to post some photos. I was told it will ship early next week. The day after I purchased my Rec Tec they called me to thank me once again for my purchase, he also told me with my grill I will get the personal cell phone numbers of both owners, and encouraged me to call with any problems. I was thinking to myself, who does that. I am very impressed so far. If the grill is half as good as the customer service, I will be one happy smoker.

That is what my Memphis does at temps below 300F. It bellows the fan to create more smoke but also keep stable temps at the same time. Works really well ;)

Congrats on your new Rec-Tec!

Congratulations on your new addition.  This thread has got me looking at Rec-Tecs again. ;)
