meatloaf on the OldSmokey

meatloaf on the OldSmokey

1# each- ground beef & ground pork
sauteed Mirepoix, thin sliced garlic at the finish
added chopped cilantro to the meat
seasoned with Mrs.Dash & Italian bread crumbs
1 beaten egg
salt & pepper over the top
sliced bacon, seasoned with SuperPig
indirect with oak lump & hickory chunks
sauced with ketchup & bbq sauce
to 165°IT
it was OUTSTANDING

I really like the combination of ingredients you chose Jack...THAT sounds fantastic!

I am with Tim on this one Jack! Great choice of ingredients and that meatloaf looks mouthwatering delicious!

I have never made a meatloaf, the ones my mother made when I was young were bland and dry. This makes me want to try it again... looks great!

That is one great looking meatloaf. I never tried mixing Beef/Pork to make one. I will have to try that out sometime.
