Christmas 2014 rib roast

On the MAK @200F with BD Hickory.





IT was 120F - the plan was to put it in a 550F convection oven for 8 minutes, but the Mrs had the oven in use. So I used a torch of sorts (a electric fan-based charcoal starter) to put the crust on the outside

Looks outstanding! I have ours in Sous Vide right now. Will put some smoke on it - then sear for finish....

That corn casserole looks interesting. What is it? Got a recipe?

Awesome like every year Randy!! So is that a silicone covered rolling pin that could possibly not need floured to roll out dough?

Thanks. She dusts the dough a little, but not the rolling pin.
