New Camp Chef ...second try.
« Reply #-1 on: February 27, 2015, 01:07:02 PM »
My first try was chicken wings....just wasn't that impressed. I had never eaten anything from a pellet grill, so my first cook I wasn't to impressed my chicken wings. FE lion back ribs was next and I think they are the best ribs in all of my 71 years. Not  as fond of heavy smoked as I once was. The important thing is wife was wowing to. Did have a little problem with temperature swing and a flame out though. Camp Chef customer service are the greatest....new controller on the way !!!!

Looks like you did well.  Good to see they back they grills as well.

Even with the best pellet poopers a heavy smoke flavor is not going to be in the food.  You can add an A-MAZE-N smoker tube if you need more smoke flavor.  But sounds like your better half is like Kimmie, a little smoke goes a long way

It looks like those ribs turned out great.

The beauty of a good pellet grill is that they put what I think is the right amount of smoke on food, and it's a CLEAN smoke flavor.  I don't like to burp smoke rings!

Ribs look good!

I always make ribs in my pellet grill. I get consistently cooked ribs every time. I have my times amd temps dialed in and it never disappoints.

Good looking ribs. Pellet grills burn a very clean fire. You will enjoy your food more and more as you use it. Camp Chef makes a good pellet grill and like you posted, they will take care of you  :)

Same here, my WSM is starting to feel neglected since the pellet grill arrived.   ;)
