Big Steak

With the price of beef going up, angus porterhouse for $8.29/ lb is on sale.
Asked Heather, my butcher to cut me a couple thick ones.
Well they were beautiful, but one weighed 2 lbs & one weighed 2 & 1/4 lbs!
Well my wife & I can't eat a two lb steak so I trimmed a 14 oz strip & cooked the rest.
Cooked over charcoal with Awake-A-Steak till med-rare.

Hubby and I split a 1 lb'er and I get the small side and the bone to chew on. I end up with it all over my face, but who cares. Pam ; *))
