Small Cook on a Big Grill
« Reply #-1 on: March 31, 2015, 09:33:22 PM »
It's easy to cook a small amount on a big grill without wasting fuel.
A charcoal basket & a brick allow you to adjust the size of a hot fire.
Small fire about 1 lb charcoal with a wood chunk.
Fire in a basket on one end , salmon on the other for 20 minutes then over the fire for 4 minutes meat side & 2 minutes skin.
Came out really good!

Nice job LA. I would much rather have a big grill for when it is needed. A small grill wont do much good when company comes calling.
