Beef Roast and Fries
« Reply #-1 on: April 23, 2015, 06:33:38 PM »
I got some Cow Cover recently and wanted to try it out. Decided on a beef roast and some frozen french fries.

I am not sure the Cow Cover will replace my favorite Tatonka Dust for beef, but it was very good.

Thanks for looking!

That looks delicious and an awesome smoke ring! I have used the Cow Cover before and it is good, but I
still prefer either Fine Swine and Bovine or Tatonka Dust on my beef roast.

I am not 100% sure as I am the farthest thing from a butcher, but the wife had it labeled in the freezer as London Broil. That's not saying that's what it is/was. :)

I am not familiar with Cow Cover, but I am with FSB and Tatonka Dust.  Until I run out of Tee's Top Secret, that will be my go-to beef rub.

Looks pretty thick for London Broil. Nice smoke ring on that hunk of meat.

Fine Swine and Bovine is from Savor Spices (one of our beloved sponsors). PM teesquare for the large size...don't even waste your time with the small bottles...oh the small bottles are OK. but they seem to empty out way to fast  8) 8)
