Bulgogi (Korean Marinated Ribeye)
« Reply #-1 on: May 14, 2015, 07:40:43 PM »
Realized I have not made this for close to six months, one of my favorites. This is how it went.

All the suspects lined up

1 Cup Soy, 1/2 cup Sake, 1/4 cup Sesame Oil, 1/2 cup sugar, five cloves of garlic diced up, six scallions sliced thin, 2 TBSP of Sesame Seeds and 1 TBSP of Crushed Red Pepper crushed up in your hand real fine. Ribeyes in for four hours in the fridge, turned three times

Some Asian short grain rice in the cooker, fresh Broccoli with S&P and lemon juice squeezed on in the steamer. A little trick I learned somewhere a long time ago, half an lemon squeezed into the steaming water infuses whatever you steam with that flavor

My little buddy set up with half a basket of Stubbs, love this grill. Two done last one on

Shitake's on in some EVOO & Sesame Oil with a little S&P

Came out real good, the plate

I love that Lodge Sportsman!

That is a fine looking meal - great pictures and looks beautiful. The trick with the lemon is wonderful - when you hear it, it seems obvious... thanks for making it obvious to me! Excellent meal.
