Honey Habanero Wings on the Jumbo Joe
« Reply #-1 on: May 16, 2015, 06:15:08 PM »
Since I am batching it this weekend I decided to do some hot wings with a little more kick since my wife won’t
do real spicy.

Wings were marinated for 8 hours in Country Bob’s Honey Habanero sauce.  They were then seasoned with
Smokin Guns Hot.

Here is my set up for the Jumbo Joe tonight.  I used my small Weber chimney and filled it about ¾ full.  I also put
a couple of Weber small drip pans in there to catch the grease and I put a small chunk of cherry wood on top.

Wings are on!

Plated with some oven baked waffle fries!

Nice light heat to the wings. Definitely not as hot as I thought they would be. But real tasty none the less.

Wings look just right HOS!!! I think it's the honey, I fixed some wings a while back I thought would have some great heat but I had honey in the sauce and they were not hot at all. Don
