Pork Tenderloin

Pork Tenderloin

I used my Magic Bullet to make the marinade
I put the dry seasoning in the cup first with the 2-bladed spice grinder base and ground the seasoning/spices to powder.
Then I added the roasted garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, a little orange juice & limeade and stirred it up with the 4-bladed blender base.
into the fridge overnight

Onto the vintage Char-Broil aluminum grill
on the fire side for a few minutes of sear color
then to the in-direct side for a total of 45'mins
to 155°IT

it was SOooo good, great flavor & SOooo tender

what's kewl about this old Char-Broil grill
with the heat deflector plate it makes the cooking area just an oven
that is heated by charcoal/wood
the deflector really makes this small grill a GREAT in-direct grill/pit
you wouldn't believe how the 4hr ribs are coming out

I had one of those cookers way back when.  Can't for the life of me remember what happened to it, but I remember cooking a lot of good stuff on it.  Its good to know they're still around.

They might be around but nobody is selling them. I have been searching for one since the Captain first showed his off!! If I can't find one by spring of next year I might start looking at the Portable Kitchen...............but I would rather have the Char-Broil!!

the advantage the Char-Broil has over the PK is the horizontally hinged lid
as opposed to the PK's vertically hinged lid ;)

Here is a Kenmore version that is listed locally on Craigslist. It doesn't say it is aluminum but I feel like it is. I might run and look at it tomorrow.
