Saw it on another thread so ordered it.

I will also use it for making sauerkraut.I got the large and a small,8.95 shipping,no tax,59.83 to Calif. Its 8 or 22 quart plastic bucket(19.99 or 29.99) with a disc that locks inside, holding product under the brine.Merry Christmas!
2 reasons for Cabela's,best shipping price, and its in stock, lots of places it isnt, including their homepage.

I have both and I use the small one mainly for curing bacon, Canadian bacon and pastrami. Works excellent!

you can also go to a store like Publix's and they will give you their food save buckets from the bakery. You will need to clean them.
Love to cook and eat

Well....seems the big one IS back ordered there too,but the small one has shipped.

Rad,I have the small and large 5 or 6 gal. plastic buckets and use the screw on gama lids, those are pretty darn nice set ups.But to make sauerkraut its a plate with a weight and kind of a hassle,Mrs is going to love these.

HOS,glad you like em,the reviews for the product are stellar,if pricey, but is what it is.Just buying a good ceramic crock would cost more, and heavy too, so not that bad I guess.
