Peach Dump Cake on the Grid Iron

(1/4) > >>

HighOnSmoke:
This is my version of a peach cobbler/dump cake that I saw on You Tube that was posted by Stoked on Smoke.

The ingredients:  The only thing I did different was substitute walnuts for pecans.

First pour both cans of peaches in a 9x16 baking pan.

Next evenly cover the peaches with the box of cake mix.

Now spread 1 cup of walnuts or pecan bits over the top of the cake mix.

Now spread 1 cup of dark brown sugar over the walnuts or pecans.

Finally cut up 2 sticks of butter and spread across the top of the brown sugar.

Here it is in my Grid Iron set at 350.  You can do this in the oven but why heat the house. I can see where I need
to do some maintenance on the Grid Iron as it is starting to peel. That is what happens if you don’t use the cover
in high humidity areas.

Here it is ready to come out of the Grid Iron. Cook time was 55 minutes until it was nice and bubbly throughout.

I let it cool a bit and wow! That is delicious! I think this may rival my wife’s peach cobbler.
