Honey Brined PK Roasted Chicken

This 3.5lb. hen was brined for 18 hours, tied, then air-dried for 24 hours before being roasted in the PK with a half-tube of Milt's rosemary apricot pellets. Ooh that added a really nice taste! And the meat was so tender and juicy! Served with green beans and a sweet potato, made for a very nice humpday dinner!

Darn good looking yard bird.  Sure with Milt could have stayed in business.....he had a really good product.... :(

Saw a PK on craigslist for $20, only one picture of the outside but "Aluminum PK Charcoal Grill. Quality older grill that needs a good cleaning and new internal grates for use."  Emailed an inquiry, waiting a reply.

Get it and get it quick. Pk sells all the replacement parts it could possibly need on their web-site  8)
